Hello everyone!
I’m back for another update on the latest goings on in my circle. I had some technical issues last month competing with the holiday, so this month’s newsletter is coming early.
Also, given that I’m home and sore from a wisdom tooth removal, (and that wasn’t pleasant,) I’ve been blessed to have some time to catch up and even get ahead. So, yay? My jaw is incredibly sore, lol. And don’t get me started on the antibiotics, ravaging my stomach. I hope you all at least feel better than I do.
The Hollow Death of Belladonna Bates
Progress has been going steady on my upcoming book. Peer revision combed nearly half the book in only a month and a half. 44%, to be exact.
I hope to proceed to a professional edit this October, but it could start even this September. Publishing could come sooner than I imagined. And that’s great news!
I can’t thank my fellow writers enough. They showed where the story can be improved and where it shined. I really want this story to publish at its best, and I feel more and more confident that it will. The book doesn’t have a launch date, but I’m shooting for tentative April/May. Again, I don’t want to rush this one, but I want it published soon.
Amorphous Ties
The book is complete, but needs a cover, and a blurb, which shouldn’t be too bad. The release window turned wonky on this one. As I’m a bit tied up in wisdom tooth recovery, I plan to share it with the Mustache Cartel next or the following month as an exclusive.
So if you’re not a part of the newsletter, here’s an incentive to join. After a month it will publish to a wider audience, but the newsletter will get it first.
Lafonda and Leo Heroes of the Land Hardcover
In case you hadn’t heard, I hope to celebrate the anniversary of this book in two ways. One will be the release of the book on hardcover. As I believe the pieces are ready to go. The second, I’d like to hold a fun contest/challenge to see who can make the best bedtime burrito from the story.
This will be just for funzys. I don’t plan on any prize at this time, but I am considering one.
